Nana Rachel's Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 4 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsps ginger
- 2 tsps cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
Directions
Cream 3/4 cup margarine, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup white sugar.
Add 1 egg, 3/4 cup molasses and 2 Tbsp water.
Beat until light.
Add 4 1/2 cup flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp ginger, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp nutmeg and 1/2 tsp cloves.
Wrap in plastic and chill.
Roll out dough and cut out desired shapes.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 8-10 minutes at 350 degrees.
