T-Red (Lemberger)

Tyrannosaurus Red (or T-Red) is crafted from Lemberger, a German grape also called Blue Frankish in Hungary. Sturdy, it thrives in our Rocky Mountain vineyards. T-Red is a dry, medium-bodied red wine that is slightly oaked. A discovery of dinosaur bones in the early 1900s in the Grand Valley inspired its name. Good with pasta dishes, red meats - lamb, hamburgers; turkey, hearty cheeses and good friends. Serve at cool room temperature. Aromas: dark fruit, berry jam, berry soda, hay, dry earth. Taste: spicy, black pepper, earthy and fruity. Parker calls this his "spaghetti wine."
