T-Red (Lemberger)

Tyrannosaurus Red (or T-Red) is crafted from 100% Colorado-grown Lemberger grapes, a German grape that thrives in our Rocky Mountain vineyards. It is a dry, medium-bodied red wine that is slightly oaked. T-Red is named after the discovery of dinosaur bones in the early 1900s here in the Grand Valley. Good with pasta dishes, red meats including lamb, hamburgers, turkey, hearty cheeses, and good friends. Serve at cool room temperature. Aromas: dark fruit, berry jam, berry soda, hay, dry earth. Taste: spicy, black pepper, earthy and fruity. Parker calls this his "spaghetti wine."
